Clubs at St Joseph's
We offer a wide variety of lunchtime and after-school clubs for children of all ages at St Joseph's. The club timetable is sent to parents at the end of every term, in preparation for the next term. Our clubs are run by both external providers and our St Joseph's staff.
Music at St Joseph's
We are very lucky at St Joseph’s to be able to offer a variety of musical instrument lessons during the school day.
Year 5 are learning to play the Ukulele this year, under the expert guidance of Surrey Arts 'Tuning Up' teacher, Mr Beagley. We look forward to hearing them perform for us later in the year!
Our choir are always delighted to perform for the Annual St PNL SVP Christmas Tea.
Each year, our children take part in the wonderful 'Young Voices' Concert in the O2. Mrs Tackie and a 100 strong choir from St Joseph's travel to London to join one of the biggest choirs in the world, made up of between 5000-8000 children from other schools in the country!
From September, the children attend YV after-school club every Tuesday to rehearse for the big day. The concert is the culmination of a lot of hard work from the teachers and children, and is an incredibly exciting experience not only for the children and staff, but for the families who go along to watch. We can't wait for 'showtime'!
